by · Published Jan 8, 2025

Meet Stacey Asis, the wellness creator empowering women “to feel good in their bodies.” Known for her holistic approach to gut health, hormone balance, and skincare, Stacey has quickly become a relatable voice — and a rising star — within TikTok’s wellness niche.

Stacey’s own health challenges, including gut issues and acne, have led her to explore alternative medicine and share her insights on TikTok. As her following grew, she realized the potential she had to inspire and connect with others seeking guidance on women’s health.

Through a combination of content and engagement, Stacey has grown her social platform to include multiple revenue streams, including brand partnerships and digital products, like her Cycle Syncing Essentials Meal Plan, designed to guide her followers through their wellness journeys.

We sat down to talk with Stacey about her path from content creator to digital product entrepreneur. Here, she offers insights into building trust with your audience, leveraging TikTok as a platform, and creating the products that will resonate with your audience.

How did you discover your niche on TikTok, and what inspired you to build content around it?

I discovered my niche thanks to my life situation. I had been experiencing gut health issues for years, and started developing acne. I tried healing my symptoms using the traditional route and even went to see a doctor, but those things didn’t help. So, I started looking for alternative, holistic practices to heal, and that’s how I discovered wellness. I started sharing wellness content as I documented my journey to healing my gut, my skin, and balancing my hormones.

Your motto, “for the girls who just want to feel good in their body,” is so powerful. Can you share how this message shapes your content and connects with your audience?

This motto means so much to me because it was a realization I had going through my own health journey. As I was healing, I realized how good I started to feel in my body. I started becoming healthy, strong, full of vitality, and secure in knowing I was making the best choices for it. This motto shapes my content because it’s the underlying message behind every video. The intention behind every routine, recipe, or recommendation I share in my content is to help others feel good in their body.

Prior to my health journey, I had no idea how different the physiology of women was from men. Society in many ways was built by men, for men. In my opinion, women are not meant to live the same way men are. We have two hormonal rhythms that can drastically alter how we feel: the circadian rhythm and the infradian rhythm, which is our menstrual cycle. Men do not have an infradian rhythm. After learning this, I just knew more women had to know about this. I hope to help women learn to live in harmony with our second hormonal rhythm and not feel forced to conform to society’s standards of living.

As a creator, how do you balance the creative process of making TikToks with the more business-oriented side, like selling digital products? Do you find that one informs the other?

I prioritize content. I do this because it’s how I connect with my audience, identify what they’re struggling with, and share most easily.

If a specific content topic starts getting higher engagement or I start getting more DMs and comments on the topic, then I will consider it for a digital product. This is especially true if it’s a complex topic that I’d need to develop a lot of content. Creating a digital product around these topics gives my audience a toolkit that they can apply to their lives and easily reference when needed.

Can you tell us about the first digital product you launched? What were your goals with it and how has selling digital products impacted your income as a creator?

The first digital product I launched was a free guide called The 7-Day Healthy Girl Summer Reset. It was a holistic toolkit for doing a physical, mental, and spiritual reset. My goal was just to create something I thought people would like.

The first real digital product I charged for was my Cycle Syncing Essentials Meal Plan. The number one request I got in my DMs was for a cookbook. This meal plan was both a cookbook and a resource on how the menstrual cycle works.

It’s extremely encouraging to create income from my own work. It means the world to me that someone paid their own money to support me or felt that something I personally created could help them. It has lit a fire in me to continue creating digital products and hopefully surpass the income I get from brand deals eventually.

I decide which aspects of women’s health to highlight based on my own experiences and knowledge. I don’t talk about endometriosis, because I’ve never experienced that. I will talk about how I got my period back or hormonal acne, because those things I did experience and spent hours researching and learning about those topics.

I don’t do anything to ensure my content resonates with all women — every video I post is for someone specific. If I want to talk about how I healed my gut in a video, I’ll talk to the woman who is experiencing gut health issues, but doesn’t know how to start healing. If someone who didn’t even realize they had gut health issues resonates with the video, then that’s a plus.

How do you use insights or feedback from your TikTok audience to inform the types of digital products you create? Are there any specific interactions that have inspired product ideas?

The insights I look at most frequently are saves, comments, and DMs. If I get the same question over and over again, that’s a clue. I’ll sometimes get very specific and long DMs from women stating their problem and that helps me figure out what kind of digital product to create

Episode number 1000000 of meals I make when I’m hangry AF and need food STAT but want to eat healthy. The luteal phase hunger is no joke. Our metabolism increases in this phase, so if you’re feeling hungrier than usual the week and a half before your period, this is not uncommon. Save yourself the inflammatory fast food and wait for delivery to make this instead! Your body will be so grateful! Ingredients (makes one serving): 1 tbsp miso paste 2 tbsp tahini 3 tbsp coconut aminos 1 clove crushed garlic pinch of salt one block gf rice noodles 1/4 block tofu 1 egg green onion drizzle of chili oil Directions: 1. Prepare your toppings. For a jammy egg, boil for 7 minutes. Take your tofu and smash it into crumbles. Season with a splash of coconut aminos and cook in the air fryer or on the stovetop until slightly browned, about 3 minutes. 2. Add the miso, tahini, garlic, and coconut aminos to your bowl. Add a splash of very hot water. Mix until miso and everything is combined. 3. Add your noodles on top and fill the bowl with the very hot water until noodles are completely submerged. Add a pinch of salt to taste. Loosen the noodles with chopsticks as they soften. 4. Use your chopsticks to ensure the soup is well combined and add your toppings of choice. How do you effectively market your digital products to your audience without feeling like you’re “overselling”?

I’ve been utilizing long-form media more lately. My YouTube and newsletter are two places I would consider my most loyal audience members consume content from.

If I’m going to share my digital products on Instagram or TikTok, I try to pack in as much value as I can whether it be on IG Stories or a video. I try to make it a journey, where downloading the digital product is the final step.

In addition to selling digital products, what other income streams have you developed as a creator? How do these streams complement one another and where does your main focus lie?

Besides selling digital products, I also get income from brand deals and affiliate income. They all work together synergistically. I build trust with my audience by sharing and partnering with brands that align with my brand, and that actually help them. I have affiliate links in my digital products. This supports the brands and strengthens our relationship.

My main income focus right now is brand deals, but I’m excited to continue to build up my income from digital products

Literally add cinnamon to everything. Oats, fruit, coffee, etc. so good if you have PCOS or any sort of insulin resistance. Or if you just want to help your body use your insulin more efficiently and prevent blood sugar crashes #bloodsugarbalance #bloodsugarhacks #bloodsugarspike

How do you cultivate a community around your niche on TikTok? Do you feel like your digital products help deepen the relationship with your followers, or open up new ways for them to engage with your content?

I think there’s no simple answer to cultivating a community. For me, I’ve found that it’s a combination of engaging with my audience, making content that brings me joy and inspires my audience, and being consistent.

I do think my digital products have deepened the relationship with my audience. I get long, incredible messages from women weekly about how my content has helped them achieve results. They open up to me about what they struggled with and that is something I do not take lightly. There’s nothing more special and meaningful to a creator than getting those types of messages.

As you grow as a creator, do you see potential for expanding your digital product offerings? What does the future look like for your brand?

Absolutely. I’m already thinking about what I’m going to launch in the summer of 2025. I have envisioned an app, a real physical cookbook — and who knows what else? I’m open to seeing what comes up.

Finally, what’s one piece of advice you’d offer to other creators who are looking to transition from content creation to successfully selling digital products?

Don’t focus on how much money you want to make. A lot of online coaches use this marketing tactic to get you to purchase their digital products. I’m not saying that none of them are helpful, but take a moment and think before you invest in someone’s guide to creating digital products. Think big about what you’re really trying to build, and prioritize that instead of making $10K on your first launch.
