How to use The Leap’s Creator Analytics
Now that you know a bit about your Analytics dashboard, we bet you want to know where to find it. To start, log in to your Leap account. Then, simply tap Analytics on the navigation menu. And voilà, all the metrics you need are immediately at your fingertips.
Types of metrics available
Your Creator Analytics dashboard provides you with different types of metrics on your store’s performance. These metrics can be taken on their own or analyzed in combination to provide you with information about your store’s performance, your products’ popularity, and the success of your marketing channels.
Let’s dig into each individual metric your Analytics dashboard provides, and why they matter to your creator business.
Visits
Visits is the total number of times your Leap store was visited. This includes multiple visits from the same visitors.
Visitors
Visitors is the total number of unique visitors that have visited your Leap store. While visits tells you how much traffic your Leap store is getting, this metric gives you insight into how many individual people are checking out your store.
Visitors over time
This easy-to-read line graph shows you how your store’s performance changes over time, with each data point representing your total visitors on a given day. If the line on this graph is rising, it means your store’s performance is increasing. Conversely, if the line is declining, it means your store’s performance is decreasing.
Product page visits
This section shows you how many visits each of your product pages is receiving. It also ranks your products from most to least visits, so you can easily see which products are your most and least popular with just a glance.
Visitor sources
This section shows you how many visits your store has received from different traffic sources. These could include your social media channels, your newsletter, your website, and internet search engines like Google. It also ranks each traffic source from most to least visits, so you can quickly see which sources are bringing you the most traffic (and which are bringing you the least).
Note: While the rest of our metrics are available to free Leap account users, insights into traffic sources are only available with a paid account.
Why use The Leap’s Creator Analytics?
So, why should you use The Leap’s Creator Analytics? Here’s the lowdown on the benefits of leveraging these metrics in your creator business.
- See your store’s performance
- Create best-selling digital products
- Supercharge your marketing strategy
- They’re free to use!
See your store’s performance
With The Leap’s Creator Analytics feature, you’re no longer in the dark as to your creator store’s performance. Being able to see how many visits and visitors your store is receiving over time allows you to understand whether your store and strategy are “working.” In turn, these insights empower you to make better decisions about the digital products you create and the way you market them.
Create best-selling digital products
The Leap’s Analytics help you create the digital products your followers will love — and want to purchase. This hub lets you see which of your products are most popular (and which ones, well, aren’t so popular).
These metrics give you crucial insights into your audience’s preferences when it comes to your products. And this helps you create more of the products that your audience loves, and less of the products they don’t.
Supercharge your marketing strategy
Want to boost your marketing endeavors? The Leap’s Analytics dashboard can help you with that. This feature shows you how well each of your visitor sources (i.e. each of your different marketing channels, from Instagram to Google) are performing. Gaining insight into each of these channels helps you make informed decisions about where to focus your marketing efforts to boost your reach — and your sales.
For example, if you aren’t receiving any visitors from Google, you might want to focus on ensuring your Leap store and product pages are search engine-optimized, or you might want to invest in Google Ads to make sure you’re getting the most from that channel.
You can also leverage these insights to experiment with your marketing initiatives. Keep an eye on your traffic source metrics as you try out different content marketing strategies on your social channels or newsletter to see what’s working and what isn’t.
They’re free to use!
While some creator stores make users pay for access to even the most simple (and crucial) analytics, The Leap provides you with these metrics for free.
With a free Leap account, you gain access to insights on your total visits, unique visits, and product page views. If you want to gain insights into your traffic sources (so you can boost your marketing strategy), you may choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
